Hi, my name is Iya Meirelles, I’m an arts teacher from Brasil and I have a B.A. in Art History and in Arts from UERJ, a very traditional brazilian university from Rio de Janeiro. I’ve been working as a teacher for more than 10 years.
Throughout this time, I’ve worked with people from different ages, different genres and social status. This experience made me try to work in different ways to try to be approachable to my students, to actually connect with them. Some part of that experience, the materials I’ve made, those are shareable, so… That’s why I made this blog.
I hope it helps my fellow teachers, I hope it does find parents that would like to provide valuable and fun activities to their kids as well.
